Senior Developer

Description: The Senior Developer will work within the IT Department to design, develop and support applications, as well as to evaluate and deploy third party products to help the firm meet business objectives.The Senior Developer will be part of a team that is responsible for working with key stakeholders, including users, clients, and other IT members to define and implement solutions. Responsibilities: Based on understanding of project requirements, develop and/or configure Microsoft SQL Server databases, user interfaces and applications to meet user needs. Participate in implementation, testing, deployment and integration with various third-party applications. Responsible for setup and monitoring of routine database maintenance scripts. Application and data integration from various sources. Create reports using SSRS, write stored procedures and views for reports. Plan, Design, and Configuration of database environments. Support/troubleshoot SQL Server and core technologies such as Windows servers. Document database and database server schemas,configurations and architectures Consulting with personnel at all levels of the organization to discuss business requirements and potential solutions. Train users on processes and systems. Participate in system testing, integration testing, and review/development of business training materials. Remain abreast of current technologies and best practices. Assists with other duties as needed. Enhances own professional growth and development through participation in educational programs. Participates in professional organizations and reading of current literature. Understands and complies with all applicable Firm policies, procedures, values and philosophies. Qualifications: College degreepreferred. Requires a minimum of 5 years of prior SQL Server and/or Application Development experience. Prior experience with document management systems, HRIS/Payroll systems, professional services accounting software, or conflicts of interest systems are all plusses. Ability to write and troubleshoot SQL Code (Including stored procedures, functions, tables, views, triggers, cross-server queries, and indexes) Experience with data migration both from databases and from ASCII files. Web development experience using ASP.NET with C#, HTML, CSS, XSL, XSLT, and/or JavaScript a plus. Experience with Cloud-based API access to data and data warehousing a plus. Experience with Microsoft Office including Access and Excel. Experience with development of SSRS reports, Power BI, and other reporting systems a plus. Experience with planning and implementing SQL Server environments. Knowledge of Internet Information Server (IIS) and the basic operation of websites. Experience with Active Directory and GPO are pluses. Must know Windows operating system, including basic administration of a server. Good understanding of networking concepts related to application requirements. Good understanding of storage concepts related to application requirements. Must have debugging skills and techniques. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Demonstrated experience in analyzing and assessing business processes, prioritizing and developing IT solutions for complex business situations. Ability to build, develop and grow interpersonal business relationships vital to the success of the project. Able to complete assignments timely and accurately. Excellent client service and listening skills. Strong analytical skills and the ability to multi-task. Ability to work with diverse personalities within various levels of the organization. Exercises sound independent judgment under minimal direct supervision. Ability to manage time efficiently and work independently as well as coordinate with a team. Military experience a plus. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
