ResponsibilitiesSupervise the daily operations of an administrative work unit supporting MAXIMUS Federal Services operations processing. ? Supervises the daily operation of an administrative work unit supporting MAXIMUS Federal Services operations processing. ? Responsible for understanding and performing the wide variety of tasks associated with the functions of direct reports. ? Assist in the interview, recruitment and retention efforts to assure work unit is meeting optimum performance.? Evaluates office production, updates procedures or recommends ways to improve efficiency of workflow.? Develops work schedules and assigns duties to operations personnel to ensure efficient operation of unit. ? Develops and implements methods and procedures for monitoring work activities.? Provides support and assistance (coaching and counseling) to support staff.? Responsible for ensuring compliance with established corporate standards including evaluating the work and performance of team members. ? Writes annual Performance Evaluations and Quarterly Bonus assessments with guidance and approval from the Manager. ? Establishes work procedures and standards to improve efficiency and effectiveness of assigned operations.? Oversees work team functions / goals to ensure all assignments are being processed and handled accurately.? Performs other duties as may be assigned. ? Associates' degree from an accredited college in a business, health, social services, or related field or equivalent experience in lieu of degree ? Strong analytical skills and leadership of administrative employees. Detail oriented; ability to interact courteously and effectively with Medicare Plans and the Medicare population. Planning and organizing work and the work of others. Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment. Successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously. Work as a team member, as well as independently. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.? Knowledge of Medicare regulations and statutes preferred.? 3-5 years' experience as supervisor in business related field; such as call center, forms processing, health/ human services, customer service, or records management.The Ideal Candidate will Possess the Following Additional Education and Experience
Associate Degree or equivalent combination of education, technical training or work experience considered in lieu of degree
Minimum of two (2) years of related experience
Ensure compliance with company Wage & Hour policy, including ensuring non-exempt employees get the rest & meal breaks
Comply with all company required policies, procedures and processes including but not limited to required training
Provides immediate supervision to a unit or group of employees, assigning tasks, checking work at frequent intervals, and maintaining schedules.
A portion of time is normally spent performing individual tasks related to the unit or sub-unit.
Generally supervises semi-skilled employees or a few individual professional contributors.
Works on issues of limited scope.
Follows established practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.
Monitors daily operations of a unit or sub-unit.
Requires full knowledge of own area of functional responsibility.
Frequently interacts with subordinate employees and functional peer groups.
Interaction normally requires the ability to gain cooperation of others, conducting presentations concerning specific projects or schedules.
Receives predetermined work assignments that are subject to a moderate level of control and review.
Directs subordinates to complete assignments using established guidelines, procedures and policies.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
