RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role is responsible for a critical area within the Lenel business ? product-managing 3rd party partnerships. You will own and optimize the product life cycle, revenue and profitability of products within this portfolio including Video Management Software, Critical Incident Management, redundancy options, servers, printers and intercom products.
You will report into the Director of Product Management and collaborate with Lenel and 3rd Party Partner PMs to attain a detailed understanding of their roadmaps and ensure that those 3rd party product roadmaps synchronize with the main OnGuard roadmap. You will also work within multi-functional teams with the SKU management team to support them in ensuring expeditious and accurate addition of 3rd party SKUs .
You will take a strategic view of managing the portfolio including identifying new technologies, market trends, categories and partners. You will analyze existing partners and products, and identify those that no longer fit. You will decide whether partner products should be integrated, private-labeled and/or in the price book.
Key Tasks
+ Portfolio management
+ Own the product life cycle of OnGuard 3rd party products from cradle to grave
+ Optimize the 3rd party portfolio sales and margin
+ Work with peers in other regions to find synergy where possible between US and rest of world needs, and where localization is required, provide support to the regional teams
+ Tier partners and define levels of interaction with each tier
+ Every quarter, review vendor & category sales & margin performance year-over-year and agree on prioritized actions
+ First 12 months: Create a 3 year strategic roadmap with all product categories and specific partners we want to enter and exit, and identify one new strategic partner opportunity that will create market differentiation and a minimum of $1M in incremental revenue within the first two years
+ New Product Development
+ Work with Product Marketing Management to gather Voice of the Customer ? spend time in front of customers to understand product enhancement and sales growth opportunities
+ Identify, document and prioritize product gaps and growth / innovation opportunities
+ Alongside assigned Program Manager and other Product Managers, actively participate in the NPD tollgate process as relevant with 3rd party integrations
+ Liaise deeply and iteratively with Engineering throughout the development process
+ Product launch
+ Work with Product Marketing and Marketing to create and action 3rd party product launch plans including creation of collateral and associated promotional activities. PM provides ?the facts? that Product Marketing and Marketing then leverage
+ Pricing
+ Ongoing review of pricing ? balance cost, demand, volume and competitor drivers to maximize margin $
+ Work with Sourcing to ensure we are always getting the best pricing
+ Competitor Analysis
+ Produce and maintain database of mutually agreed-to competitors and the 3rd party relationships they have
+ Training
+ Deliver sales training so global sales teams can compellingly represent the value of each new product release
+ Sustaining
+ Own the compatibility matrix
+ Update 3rd party product SKUs in the Lenel MRP system throughout the product lifecycle and implement changes as required including changes in pricing, costs, product functionality, obsolescence, etc.
+ Ensure adequate supply of 3rd party products to support Lenel annual sales targets
+ Executive Leadership Team (ELT) Relationship Development
+ Attain continuous feedback to ensure 3rd party product strategy aligns with UTC/Lenel corporate strategy
+ Understand and socialize 3rd party products expected contributions to BU performance metrics including EBIT, margin, Cost of Goods Solds and incremental revenue growth

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
