Early Childhood Teacher
The Goddard School located in Pittsford, NY is seeking early childhood classroom teachers . We are currently hiring for the following positions:
Lead Classroom teacher for Young Toddlers (12-18 months)
Lead Classroom teacher for Toddlers (ages 18-30 months)
Assistant Teachers for preschool or all ages 0-5 years.
Required Qualifications:
NYS Teaching Certification in Early Childhood Education or Child Development Associates
Minimum 1 year teaching experience in ECE (Experience with infants, toddlers and preschool preferred)
Coursework and knowledge in Child Development
Proficiency in lesson planning and curriculum development
Shared philosophy of play-based & child-centered learning environment
Excellent classroom management skills
Creative, nurturing, organized, energetic and flexible personality
Exemplary work ethic
Qualifications:
Open availability between 7:00am-6:00pm M-F
Skills in American Sign Language
Computer skills, access to a personal computer
Knowledge of NYS OCFS regulations
This is a full-time position. Hired individuals must provide a medical statement with recent TB test and are subject to a background check which includes fingerprinting.
