Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and friendly Dental Receptionist to join our team.
The Dental Receptionist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, managing patient records, scheduling appointments, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a dental or medical receptionist role and possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner - Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries - Schedule patient appointments using dental software systems such as Dentrix or eClinicalWorks - Verify insurance coverage and assist with insurance claims - Maintain patient records and update information as necessary - Collect payments from patients and provide receipts - Assist with medical record management, including filing and retrieval - Coordinate with dental assistants and hygienists to ensure efficient patient flow - Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality - Perform other administrative tasks as assigned
Experience:
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or medical receptionist preferred - Familiarity with dental office procedures and terminology is a plus - Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix or eClinicalWorks is highly desired - Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and external contacts - Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
